CHAMPIONS FOR LIFE
The 15th Anniversary of the Euro 2004 triumph was the launchpad.
The perfect moment to take the CSR project we had launched a few years before, to the next level.
The philosophy was there; the will was there; the motivation was there.
We were ready, willing and now able to materialise our plan in a direct and perfectly organised fashion
With the unconditional support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation,
we now had the means and the platform to champion our philosophy and channel our vision,
whilst celebrating that milestone and our legacy.
"Champions For Life" N.P.C. is our very own, explicit declaration that we are here,
we are active and we are determined to stand by the community and give back to society.
Always together, as a team, as a structured organisation with a Mission and the means to fulfil it.
Since its inception, Champions For Life had a major role in planning and organising the celebrations
for the 15-Year Anniversary of the historic victory at UEFA EURO 2004,
via mutliple events which took place on and around the anniversaries of each Euro 2004 match.
A full month of daily activities, culminating to the main event: the revival of the epic final against Portugal in Athens!
On July 4, 2019, more than 10,000 fans celebrated an historic moment
and helped us raise a substantial amount for "Merimna NPO for the Support of Children and Families".
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Champions For Life collaborated with the Greek State and other organisations
in various functions, events and social awareness activities in order to inform, educate and motivate the public,
such as blood drives in Athens and Thessaloniki, and the donation of portable respirator devices to the National Health System.
